Purpose: This paper aims to identify the barriers for implementing Reverse Logistics in construction sector and rank between barrier stakeholder, phase project life cycle, relevant issues on emergence of reverse logisticsDesign/methodology/approach: research began by identifying re- verse logistics through a systematic literature review. The method used review was PRISMA method. identification assessed their influence logistics’ successful implementation expert using questionnaire instrument. rating scale Likert 1 (greatly hinder logistics) 5 (not greatly logistics). results assessment were TOPSIS.Findings: There 38 this study, classified as: markets competitor’s issues, policy issue, supply chain process, economic knowledge-related government support operational issue. study’s indicated that lack governmental RL (GS1) with highest ranking. related appeared cycle approach’s green initiation phase. stakeholder who responsible improve GS1 is government. In case, played vital role as regulator owner, encouraged implementation.Research limitations/implications: limitation scope specific developing countries, particularly Indonesia. object study case highway construction.
